dc.description.abstractThis paper reports our implementation of a handheld concept mapping tool to support cooperative learning in a nursing class. We investigated the effects of using handheld technology in a traditional classroom as well as issues associated with the use of handheld technology. Our findings showed that handheld tools enhanced interactions among students when proper class management and technology support were provided.en_US
