Abstract

文的主旨在探究國中藝術教育的過去及現在所遭遇的問題,並尋繹其未來可行的方向。本文發現,部定九年一貫課程中「藝術與人文學習領域」的課程改革精神(如大眾化、全人化、生活化、統整化、多元化等等)'普遍得到教師們的認同與支持;惟因規畫時程不長,宣導執行匆促,配套措施不全,運作步伐不齊,致使政策在推藝術教育的過去及現在所遭遇的問題,並尋繹其未來可行的方向。本文發現,部定九年一貫課程中「藝術與人文學習領域」的課程改革精神(如大眾化、全人化、生活化、統整化、多元化等等)普遍得到教師們的認同與支持;惟因規畫時程不長,宣導執行匆促,配套措動上困難重重,而學校行政與教師教學的心理負擔也高。可喜的是,教改的風潮,帶動了教師專業自主意識的提升,此一意識的發展,若能持續增強並得到教育及學校行政主管的重視,將是藝術教育改革成功的一大基石,也是教師得以展現專業素養的一大契機。
The main purpose of this article is to investigate the problems challenging Art Education at the junior high school level and to find possible solutions. It was discovered that art teachers visited by the writers of this article generally agreed with the ideals of the official Nine-year Coherent Curriculum Reform. Yet, due to the hasty pace of implementation, poor administration , and a lack of resources, the curriculum reform in art education at the junior high school level has met with various problems and is loaded down by a heavy burden of teaching and administration placed upon the art faculty. Nevertheless, one promising result for the reform is found in this research: the process of curriculum reform strengthens art teachers' conSCIOusness of professional autonomy. It is believed that further enhancement of this consciousness on the part of the arts teachers will be a key factor in paving the way for arts education reform in the future.
