Abstract

本研究透過課堂實驗為導向對高中生進行影像處理課程教學,以影像辨識為教學內容教導高中生學習影像處理,設計一套實驗活動及實驗軟體,藉由課前觀看影片教學及課堂實驗活動的方式,來提升高中生對於影像處理的了解。 本研究透過準實驗研究法,以基隆高中一年級156名學生作為研究樣本,採用實驗組、控制組後測設計,實驗研究的自變項為是否進行課堂實驗教學,依變項為影像處理成就測驗的結果,並對測驗結果進行單因子共變數分析,了解實驗教學活動對學生學習成效的影響,並藉由問卷調查,了解學生課前觀看教學影片的教學模式及教學內容的觀感,以及實驗活動學習後,對學習影像處理的想法。 研究結果發現,(1)以課堂實驗為導向進行影像處理教學對高中生學習影像處理有助於提升學習成效,(2)學生對於實驗課前觀看影片的教學模式有不錯的反應,(3)實驗活動能有助於了解影像處理原理,並能提高學生學習興趣,(4)本研究所發展的實驗套件可輔助學生學習影像處理。
The objective of this study is to investigate the feasibility of using lecture video and lab package in teaching image processing concepts to high school students. In this experiment, teacher pre-taped the lectures and put the taped lectures on the course website for students to watch before class. For in class activity, lab packages, including hands-on experimental software tool and worksheets, were created and used for students to practice with. Therefore, not only a more learner-centered environment was created, but the essence of “learning by doing” was also implemented. The experiment was conducted at a rural high school for three weeks. One hundred fifty-six first-year high school students in four classes participated in this study. Two of the classes were designated as the control group and the other two classes as the experimental group. The post-experiment achievement test was given to both experimental and the control groups after three weeks of learning. The ANCOVA results indicate that the two groups of students had a similar learning achievement. However, the questionnaire reveals that students exhibit more positive attitude toward this new learning approach. The research findings offer teachers reasons and directions for changing their teaching method. Practical suggestions for implementing this new approach in high school to other higher-level computer science topics are also offered.
