Abstract

本計畫旨在探討公眾對科學與科技的理解與參與,從城/鄉地區國中學生與家長之 媒體使用、eHealth/媒體/網路素養與健康之關係進行探討,並發展eHealth/媒體素養、 網路霸凌/性騷預防教育教材及親職教育手冊,進行介入與成效評價,期增進公眾對健 康科學與媒體科技的理解與參與。本研究為期二年,分述如下: 第一年計畫包括:(1)文獻分析:收集美國、英國等eHealth、媒體素養與網路霸凌 /性騷預防之教材與親職教育資源。(2)需求評估:抽樣調查台北市與宜蘭縣2000 名國 中學生及其家長2000 名,瞭解家長親職教育對學生媒體使用、eHealth/媒體/網路素養 及健康影響,並進行學生、教師、家長焦點團體各一場,以探討城/鄉地區學生與家長 健康媒體科技素養教育介入可行模式。 第二年計畫包括:(1)教材研發:依需求評估結果,研發國中學生eHealth/媒體素 養、網路霸凌/性騷預防教育教材與家長親職教育手冊等。(2)課程執行:以準實驗設 計,選擇城/鄉地區國中實驗學校學生300 名與其家長300 名,及對照學校學生300 名, 進行實驗組國中學生eHealth/媒體素養、網路霸凌/性騷預防教育介入,及提供家長親職 教育互動手冊。(3)成效評價:評價介入對家長親職教育增能及對學生eHealth/媒體素 養、網路霸凌/性騷預防技能與健康行為之影響。
The objective of this study is to investigate public understanding & engagement of science and technology, by examining the relationships between media use, eHealth/media /online literacy and health among middle school students and parents in urban and rural areas. Youth eHealth/media/online literacy education program and parental mediation of children's media use resources will be developed and implemented to promote public understanding & engagement of health science and media technology. The effectiveness of the intervention will be evaluated. This study is a 2-year project. In the first year (assessment phase), youth eHealth/media/online literacy education curricula and parenting resources developed in the United States, United Kingdom and other countries will be collected. A total of 2000 middle school students and their parents from Taipei City and Yilan County will be randomly selected to collect data on media use, eHealth/media/online literacy and health. In addition, student, teacher and parent focus groups will be conducted separately to assess appropriate model of eHealth literacy program for urban and rural areas. In the second year (development, implementation and evaluation phase), eHealth/media/ online literacy educational materials will be developed to assist teachers and parents to deliver eHealth/media literacy education materials and cyber bullying prevention. In addition, the quasi-experimental design will be used to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention on parental mediation of children’s media use and eHealth/media literacy, cyber bullying/harassment prevention skills and health behaviors among students. A sample of 300 students and their parents from the experimental middle schools and 300 students from the control schools will be selected to evaluate the effectiveness of the eHealth/media literacy, and cyber bullying/ harassment prevention program.
