In my Ph.D disserration that finished in 2005,I made a tentive study on the archaeology of Hsiung-nu in mainland China, and finds there are some problems in the works that made by China’s Archaeologists, especially about the Methodology.By the sake of limit of the presentation time,I haven’t use the archaeological sources about the Hsiung-nu that finds in Mongolia and South Siberia, and therefore I want to make a more whoely study in the project on the problems of the archaeological cultures about Northern Hsiung-nu in Mongolia,Trans-baikal and Altai regions. China’s Archaeologist Prof. Ma Li-qing in her recent work Original Xiong-nu and Xiong-nu proposed such a new concept “Original Hsiung -nu",was the new concept propriety used on the discussions about the origin of Hsiung –nu? In my opinion it might be need more discsstions.Besides,I also want to inquiring the affinities between the Hsiung-nu and the early Nomads in South Siberia, and hope to find some new insights concerning the original questions of the Hsiung-nu.
