Abstract: 國民小學圖書館是學童最便利使用的閱讀環境,亦是師生共同享受閱讀與培養閱讀習慣的絕佳場所。學童與教師是國民小學圖書館主要使用者與服務對象,適切地以使用者的觀點對國民小學圖書館內部空間進行使用評估調查,探究國民小學圖書館內部空間被使用的情形,瞭解使用者的行為、經驗與感受,是國民小學圖書館經營管理必須重視的議題。本研究基於用後評估理論,以使用國民小學圖書館之師生為對象,藉由實地觀察、訪談、繪圖等以記錄分析師生在圖書館內活動情況,釐清使用者於國民小學圖書館內從事之活動、使用國民小學圖書館內部空間之經驗與感受、以及國民小學圖書館內部空間之功能與角色等,以做為國民小學圖書館內部空間規劃設計與使用經營或維護管理之參考。
Elementary school libraries provide an environment that facilitates reading and learning for students and teachers. For library managers, it is important to study library space usages from users’ perspectives in order to understand their behaviors and experiences. Adopting the post occupancy evaluation approach, this study analyzed the activities, perceptions, and feelings of the users of a selected elementary school library and identified the library’s roles and functions within that school. Observation, interview, and user illustration of the library’s interior were used for the data collection. Findings of this study provide insights into the space planning and utilization of elementary school libraries.
