Title: 我國創造性思考教學學習成效之後設分析
The Effect of Teaching for Creative Thinking on Student's Achievement in Taiwan---A Meta-Analysis

Abstract: Toffler 在其名著「未來的震蕩」(Future Shock)一書中,指出未來的社會將 具有三個特性:新奇性、多樣性及暫時性。學者洪蘭也曾說:「有創造力才有未 來,我們的未來就在下一輩的創造力上,如果我們將腦力封鎖住、沒有創造力, 我們的未來是沒有希望的。」此外,教育部於2002 年公布了《創造力教育政策 白皮書》,期望在十年之內全面落實小學至大學等各級學校之創造思考教學。並 在其所頒布的「國民中小學九年一貫課程綱要」中,將創造的能力及積極創新的 精神列為現代國民所需的基本能力之一。台北市教育局更將2006 年定為「台北 市教育創意年」,由此可見,我國政府在近幾年來對於創造力教育的推動不遺餘 力,並努力打造新的創意國度,創造我國的國際競爭優勢。 從學者賈馥茗(1970)倡導創造思考教學能力的發展實驗以來,許多學者也 開始投入此一領域相關的學術研究。研究者以「創造思考」為關鍵字,自國內「中 華民國期刊論文索引」搜尋,共發現395 篇論文,再自「博碩士論文索引」搜尋, 又發現138 篇論文,而國科會的歷年研究計畫亦發現有56 篇論文。若單就實證 研究來看,則三個索引資料庫總共也有超過80 篇的研究。 且自教育部公布《創造力政策白皮書》以來,國內「創造思考教學」的研 究文獻更有大幅增加之勢。然而,相關的研究雖多,其實際成效如何卻仍無定論, 且在眾多文獻之中,可發現研究設計或有差異,如研究對象之學齡層級、樣本數、 教學科目、教學持續時間、研究工具等皆有所不同。基於此,實有必要對過去國 內的相關研究再次進行有系統的整理及分析,一方面可整理出已進行過之研究主 題和方向,作為未來研究的指引,另一方面,更重要的是瞭解創造思考教學發展 至今,累積了什麼樣的結果?是否有哪些重要的研究變項被忽略?研究與實務間 是否存有落差?研究的方法是否正確? 爰此,本研究擬以「後設分析法」(meta-analysis)針對國內有關創造思考 教學成效之研究作一量化的統整,期能對此一領域之研究獲致較明確的結論。
Teaching for creative thinking has been an important research topic in education. Starting from 1970, many studies relating to creative thinking have been published in the USA. It gradually becomes a popular research topic in Taiwan since the announcement of Nine-year Curriculum Reform by the government. In a short period of time, around 500 articles relating to teaching for creative thinking were published in Taiwan, in which about 80 were empirical research. With such a huge research literature, it is important to know what the effects of teaching for creative thinking on students’ achievement (e.g., creative ability, content knowledge, attitude toward learning). This study attempts to use the meta-analytic approach to synthesize current research regarding the effectiveness of teaching for creative thinking on students’ cognitive, affective, and social behavior outcomes in Taiwan. Furthermore, the comparison of research literature on teaching for creative thinking between Taiwan and the USA will be included. It is hoped that this synthesis will help to provide a clearer conclusion on this issue.
