|Abstract:||Human capital has been one of the most valuable assets for businesses. Training and development (T&D) as well as human performance technology (HPT) are the two major approaches in human resource development (HRD) that will enable companies to rise the value of their human capital. In context of human resource development, this article examined the development and contents of instructional design. Furthermore, the applications of instructional design processes in T&D and HPT were discussed.|
