Abstract: 本研究的目的在於規劃與建置一個教師線上社群網站的知識庫及其周邊功能,所欲探討的主題有以下幾項:(1) 一個社群網站應提供哪些具體的知識內容方有助於提升教師的專業表現?(2) 應如何記錄、儲存、與呈現這些知識方有利於教師的查詢與取用?(3) 應提供哪些溝通工具與管理機制使教師們願意在這個線上社群互相討論、分享與傳承個人的知識與經驗?(4) 所建立的知識庫與溝通工具是否有效提升了教學表現?其主要效益為何?本計畫預定分三年執行,本年度為第一年,其研究重點在於學科知識庫 (ContentKnowledge-Base)之規劃、建置、與使用效益評估。
The objective of this research is to design and develop a knowledge base and its related features to support effective functioning of a teachers’on-line community. The research questions to be investigated are: (1) What are the scope and specifics of teaching-related knowledge that must be included in the knowledge base of a teachers’ online community? (2) How should we codify, store, and present teaching-related knowledge in such a way that would facilitate access and use of this knowledge? (3) What are the communication tools and management strategies that should be implemented to encourage discussion, sharing, and transfer of knowledge among teachers of an online community? (4) Do the knowledge base and the communication tools that we develop succeed in improving teaching performance? If so, what is the specific impact? This project will be carried out over three years. In this first-year study, our focus has been on the design, development and evaluation of the content knowledge base.
