Title: 外籍配偶子女教養方式及其轉化學習之方案發展研究

Abstract: 我國外籍配偶人數,已經高達十三萬四千人。外籍配偶所生子女約占臺灣新生兒出生率的十分之一,其在學子女也已超過八萬多人。基於外籍配偶子女教養學習需求,但礙於家務負擔、多元文化衝擊、以及語文溝通能力,發展合適之教育方案是非常重要的。因此,本研究主要目的在透過小團體形式之教育方案之行動研究,透過對話、照片分享、互動式遊戲,一方面了解外籍配偶的子女教養方式,一方面引發反思,藉以發展外籍配偶子女教養轉化學習之教育方案。本研究主要發現如下:一、外籍配偶是子女教養之主要承擔者。其子女教養方式多少和長輩的干預程度、個人的家務負擔、母國文化、以及原生父母的教養方式有一些關係。菲籍外籍配偶自主性強;越南、緬甸外籍配偶則以先生意見為主。二、外籍配偶子女教養以權威式為主,同時打罵體罰是普遍使用的方法。不過會因子女年齡與議題性質而有所改變。例如:攸關生命安全、正規學習等議題,採取權威教養方式。至於生活常規或習慣,對學齡前子女以哄騙或策略式教養方式;但對學齡孩子則以溝通之民主方式,以期學習自治。三、在教育方案行動研究過程中,外籍配偶參與者知覺到權威與體罰之效用的限制。透過小團體互動、經驗分享及領導者之引導有助於外籍配偶對子女教養方式之覺知與反思,促成其不同教養方式之嘗試;不同教養方式之嘗試及其成功經驗,可促成其轉化學習。方案設計、團體領導者之引導技巧與子女教養知能,有助於外籍配偶子女教養之轉化學習。本研究根據行動研究修改教育方案(以子女教養為主軸),最後透過專家研討完成方案設計,以提供相關人士參考。
The purposes of this study are as follows: (1) to understand the parenting styles of the foreign brides; (2) to understand the transformative learning of parenting styles from the group dynamics; (3) to develop the programs for foreign brides' parenting education. Action research was the major method of this study. Small group interactions were implemented. The findings of this study are: (1) Authoritative parenting is the major style of the foreign brides; (2) the factors that influence the parenting style are native cultures and family; (3) there are different parenting styles in terms of the age of children and their specific situations; (4) transformative learning occurred because of group dynamics; (5) the instructor plays an important role in facilitating transformative learning; and (6) the foreign brides follow the cycle of reflection, awareness, action, successful experience and then transformation. Finally, a series of parenting education programs are developed for practical application.
