Abstract: 高職特教班的辦理始於民國八十三年,歷經多年的實驗,終於在民國八十八年正式納入高職學制,辦理的校數逐年增加,透過職業教育的實施,使學生發崛自己的興趣所在,未來將更容易融入職場。以往智能障礙者是家庭與社會負擔,如今,透過職業教育能夠使智能障礙者獨立自主,大大減輕家庭的重擔,更讓社會潛在人力得以開發。本文就高職特教班之發展與現況進行探討。
