In the stage of college and employment, the respondents often be responsible for compliance with gender stereotypes work. In the service of women’s clients, they often experience service difficulties because of gender differences. Therefore, when the respondents face to female classmates and colleagues, their coping strategies have to break gender stereotypes and gender division of labor. In addition, when the respondents face to female clients, their coping strategies have to transform other way to contact female clients, and use not only slow but gentle tone and lengthen the time to build relationships. Apart from this, they also develop gender awareness, self-reflection, and carefully assess the female client’s transference. This study recommends male and female social workers should learn how to get along with the opposite sex. Social work education should be more emphasis on training gender awareness and the needs of individuals, the public and private sectors of social work should strengthen social worker’s client interaction skills in job training and pre-employment training. In addition, expectations of gender equality and the implementation of gender education will be gradually break down gender stereotypes.
