科學課程的結構、內容,及教學策略的運用,往往取決於科學教育的目標。縱觀美國各時期科學教育的發展與改革, 各有其時代背景及社會需求。 本文分別探討了1960,70,80 年代美國科學課程的特色及得失,並闡述近年來在科學教育改革運動之下所產生的課程模式- Project 2061、SS&C、STS 等,以作為國內科教改革的借鏡。文末結論對國內教改提出一些思考問題及建議,並指出教育改革必須是全面性的方得以為功。
